Our Home Health Aides provide a wide variety of health, social, and household services. They are
concerned workers who transmit their positive, caring attitudes to seniors and their families.
Our Registered Nurses and Licensed Clinical Social Workers regularly
assess and evaluate all services and the quality of care. Our
office staff is experienced in addressing your needs at the time of
referral and on an ongoing basis.
Carol Kamine-Brown,
LCSW, Executive Manager, has extensive experience with the elderly and
cognitively impaired in both the home care and
hospital settings. Ms. Kamine-Brown also has a psychotherapy practice
in Brooklyn and is a mental health consultant for the state-contracted
organization representing the interests of nursing home residents.
Florina Sterlin,
RN Manager, has had substantial skilled nursing experience in the home health care field.
Having started out as a home health aide/attendant herself, she has an acute
understanding and sensitivity to the work and educational needs of our home health aides.
Cicely Griffith, LPN, Nurse
Coordinator, visits clients and monitors their care.
She has had many years of experience with the geriatric
population within the nursing home, home care, and hospital settings. She has
particular specialization within medical/surgical and cardiac care
units. Her expressed goal is her patients' satisfaction.
Renee Herman LMSW, Social Work Case Manager,
is an experienced elder care professional who has served as a Social Work Director in
nursing home care and facilitated Alzheimer’s caregiver support
groups. Ms. Herman was the Elder Affairs Coordinator for Miami Beach
where she designed the Information and
Referral Service for the elder community. At COHME, she works closely with our
clients and family members providing counseling, support, and referral.
Nicole Mazyck,
Social Work Career Specialist for our home health aides, started out as a home
health aide herself and overcame many obstacles as she
worked her way up the ladder in the social services field. She
provides information, support, and guidance to help aides maintain
their financial and personal stability.
Leticia Marrero, Office Manager, oversees the administrative operations
of the agency. Leticia has many years' experience working as a New York City Department
of Corrections Personnel Officer and in the security industry.
Robin Davis, Administrative Assistant, is an experienced
home health aide who moved
up into management, providing a link between the office and field staff.
Michelle Lance, Receptionist, is also a seasoned home health aide
who assists with all office and personnel needs.
Richard Stuart,
Financial Manager, has worked extensively in the banking and tax
accounting industries. He has provided financial services for a variety
of clients.
